DLA is governed by an elected Council, its policy-making body, and an Executive Board which “acts for the Council in the administration of established policies and programs.” DLA members elect one President, one Senior Vice President, two Vice President, one General Secretary, one Secretary, one Treasurer, one PRO and 7 executive members. The tenure of the elected council is for two-years.
